Gravesend, Kent band The Casuals included Tony Ellington on lead vocals (b. Anthony Ellington, Monday, June 15, 1942, Gravesend, Kent, England), who made his first appearance with them in 1960. Ellington had been educated at St. George's School, Gravesend.

The Casuals used to support Davie Jones and the Manish Boys who included Davie Jones on lead vocals, alto sax (acrylic Grafton) (b. David Robert Hayward Jones, Wednesday, January 8, 1947, 40 Stansfield Road, Brixton, South East London, England d. Friday, January 10, 2016 at his appartement in Lafeyatte Street, Manhattan, New York City, N.Y., USA).

hey would appear with Davie Jones and the Manish Boys at The Royal Star Hotel Ballroom, The Royal Star Hotel, 15 High Street, Maidstone, Kent.

Ellington later changed his name to Dorian Gray and released a number of singles (1967 - 1970).

In 1973 Gray who wanted to return to music and under his real name of Tony Ellington, formed Unit Five who included Reg Keam on drums (b. Reginald Keam). 

They were not the Casuals of "Jesamine" fame.
