In the 60s my uncle (Andrew Attwood) played bass guitar in a group called Tony St John and the senators, The other members included Robin Pemble, Max Hoad and Lee Fairbrother. They were based in the Medway towns.

I am hoping some/all of them may still be around and contactable, as Andrew is unwell and would like to reconnect with old friends.
Any help with tracing them would be wonderful.

In reply to a post from Jon Attwood, I am Lee Fairbrother who played drums for The Senators with Drew in the early 60s.
We rehearsed in his parent's house close to Gillingham Station.
Sad to hear Drew is unwell, please pass on my sincere thoughts.
Sincerely Lee.

I think the leader of the group was Tony Parry.

Hi - I'm Tony Parry's (Tony St John's) son Yes he was the lead singer. He would go on to sing in other bands (even winning a televised talent show on TVS!) - but the Rolling Stones support gig in Chatham in 64 was probably the height of his time with the Senators

Harden, I went out with Tony for a bit. It would have been 1964 I think. He took me to see a Gillingham football match.
